Begin The Cadwaladr Quests with Tangled Time

Tangled Time is Book 1 of The Cadwaladr Quests, a three-book 11+ reading serial for Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. It is also a clear starting point for children in Year 5 who do not have time to read all four Cadwaladr Chronicles first.

Children who have already read the Chronicles can continue the full seven-book story here. Tangled Time follows Escape, but it also introduces the people and events needed by children beginning with the Quests.

How should my child use this book?

Read Tangled Time as a novel. The on-page dictionary is there to help your child understand difficult vocabulary without repeatedly stopping to look words up elsewhere. It is not a list of words to learn.

The story
