11+ Standalone Verbal Skills Workbooks

These 11+ Verbal Skills workbooks provide vocabulary, comprehension and SPaG practice for Year 4 and Year 5. They do not follow the Cadwaladr novels and can be used completely on their own.

Which workbook should I choose?

Start with Workbook 1. Children can then continue with Workbook 2. Together, the two books contain more than 2,000 questions covering the English and verbal skills tested across 11+ entrance exams.

Choose these if you want independent practice. Unlike the supporting Trap and Tangled Time workbooks, your child does not need to read one of the novels first.

Suitable for different 11+ tests. The books cover vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar, including question types needed for GL, FSCE and demanding independent school entrance tests.

Buying both? The two-workbook bundle is cheaper than buying Workbook 1 and Workbook 2 separately.
